I recently recut a large zircon for a client.  He was not satisfied with the performance of the zircon.  As you can see in the before pictures on the left, the pavilion of the stone was very sloped.  The stone looked dead because of this feature, so we agreed to recut the pavilion of the gemstone only.  After recutting, the zircon was much more brilliant and the color of the gemstone improved as well.  The before and after picture is below.  If you have been wanting a gemstone recut but were not sure how to do it then contact me so we can see how to give your gem a facelift.
